# Assessment Outcomes & Validation
Navigate to the **Outcomes & Validation** screen. You can use this screen to manage submissions and validate definitions.
#### To create a new submission:
* **Select Learner**: Select a learner from the list of available contacts.
* **Select Assessment**: Select an assessment that has previously been generated on the Assessments screen.
* **Select Attempt**: To create a new submission select 'New Attempt' from the list.
* For a New Attempt you will be presented with a series of one or more question and answer blocks and Marking information for each block.
* After completing the answers click Submit to post your submission.
#### To view an existing submission:
* **Select Learner**: Select a learner from the list of available contacts.
* **Select Assessment**: Select an assessment that has previously been generated on the Assessments screen.
* **Select Attempt**: If one exists, select a previous submission.
For a previous submission the Answer field is read-only and extra details are added to the Marking section.
